Does this bra offer enough compression to hold my breast down while doing lists of jumps/running/etc.?

Yes, the elastic band on the bottom and the strappy of the back are used high quality Elastic, it has good support, it's no bounce when doing fitness.

Does it break in the in the washer? My other bras did.

Mine haven't. The most that will happen is on bra pad will transfer to the other side if you don't take your bra pads out first. There are slits on the inside of the bra to put them back in or to retrieve the escapee bra pad.

Do these wick moisture? I'm looking for something to wear under a vest so wicking moisture away from my skin is a must.

I believe they do pretty good at wicking away moisture. You can also remove the padding too if you get too warm.

What size should I order if I wear a 40D?

I wear a 38c and had to order a xl

Do they pill?

I've had mine for 2wks and have washed them many times. The look and feel great. I love them. I don't put them in the dryer.
